@kaobeikia: Thanks kaobeikia! GJC from Kyoto, United StatesThanks for both. They are each of them superb in their own way. Which do you like? I love the sort of chalkiness in the colors here -- you have a wonderful way with color, especially blues. And of course the light is so fine. Makes me want to walk into this photo! 31 Jan 2009 11:40am @GJC: I like them both...they both create different moods which makes it special for me. Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadareally beautiful shot - I espcially love the cloud formations, and the colours, and... well, just everything - nice work! 31 Jan 2009 11:42am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThose beautiful clouds really create a fabulous backdrop for this beach scene. 31 Jan 2009 1:41pm Anthony Lambert from Bielefeld, GermanyThis picture is so vivid it´s almost 3D.Fantastic !! 31 Jan 2009 5:22pm Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainGreat composition, spectacular sky. The people in the beach add the life to the image. 31 Jan 2009 7:47pm Rémi Côté from Saguenay, CanadaImpressive colors and contrast in this shot. Very beautiful! 31 Jan 2009 9:36pm Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, CanadaVery strange and excellent shot but I think I prefer the b+w shot. 31 Jan 2009 9:41pm 10Fraction from Rennes, FranceHi Wil what do you mean by colorized? Colorized means giving artificial colors to a B&W image. Is this the case or is the B&W linked to this picture a desaturated version of this one? If it is really colorized then the work is fantastic. The picture is very nice anyhow 31 Jan 2009 10:04pm @10Fraction: thank you 10Fraction. I should word it more that this is the color version not colorized. twodot from New York, United StatesI am curious, is this and yesterday's photo HDR? 31 Jan 2009 10:43pm @twodot: Thanks twodot...both are not HDR...tone curve adjustments in Lightroom is the one adjustment that give the shot the most dramatic effect. I used a circular polarizer too on these shots. Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaGorgeous work, Will. Has the look of a water color. 1 Feb 2009 2:18am DarkElf from Perth, Australiawhoa! amazing sky! wonderful colours too! perfect day to hang out at the beach... 1 Feb 2009 4:08am Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceBecause it's not an HDR, I really like this one : the light on the clouds is …tremendous ! 1 Feb 2009 10:35am Mirko Herzner from Mühlheim am Main, GermanyAn amazing shot. Those clouds are georgeous. 1 Feb 2009 1:38pm zOOm from Paris, FranceDifficult to choose... both are impressive and very powerful. This one has a plus : looks like a painting as far as the post-processing is concerned. Truly lovely muted colors. And what a nice cloudy sky. 1 Feb 2009 1:48pm Mathilde from FranceUn tableau tout droit sorti d'un imaginaire fantastique. Belle image, j'aime ces teintes bien piquées et pourtant si douces. 1 Feb 2009 2:45pm |
