I wasn't familiar with the zeiss biometar, so I had to google it. Still haven't found much info about the lens but boy does it capture amazing looking images. This is a lovely portrait. The light is gorgeous, beautiful skin tones...I also like how his hair is still a bit damp from swimming.

@Melissa W.: thanks melissa:)...the lens is a medium format lens from my pentacon six TL camera...bought on ebay...i had read an article about putting the pentacon six lenses on an EOS camera via a pentacon to eos adapter....i tried it and it works wonderfully. you have to manually focus and set the aperture...the camera still automatically sets the shutter...I bought the lens for around $60...it's a fun lens to play around with...depending on the time of day...as you can see I get wonderful results...let me know if you want more info...I can try and point you to some sites.
Excellent color, light and skin tones, and a very cute model. I too will google the gadget and see what it is about.
