I really like the "peaches" sign...can't really say why...maybe it's the combination of the font and the contrast...either way, I like it. Did you buy any?

@Melissa: thanks you very much melissa! I love quirky signs and buildings...this one just caught my eye...I actually took this shot from my car window...heading to cedar key in a rush...so i didn't get out to buy anything...
I really like the active dodging work y’ve done on this in addition to a very smooth b&w image. As Melissa says, the eye is taken to the signage but there is more of interest to be seen in those shadows, too. Real neat image.

The last few entries are really nice. This one has a great nostalgic feeling to it.

Refined work and an excellent B&W.

This reminds me a great deal of the 1930s photos by the FSA photographers. A very vintage feel to it, with good command of tone.

How's the price? I enjoy going to my local farmer's market. The price is tad high but the prodcues are fresh and beautifully grown. I love the edge you made for this shot, it goes well with black and white.

Don't forget about the local sweet potatoes! Just because they don't have a fancy banner doesn't make them less important. I'm just sayin'. (Interesting crop, by the way.)

whoa, I almost thought you had typed in "Peaches." It kind of helps hide the fact that you chopped the poor guy's head off. Except for that, it does have a real old-timey feel. Nicely done!
