@Justin Cafiero: Thanks Justin!...I start off in adobe lightroom (raw image file) and make initial tweeks...white balance, tone, saturation, initial sharpness...export to photoshop CS3. In CS3 i reduce image size (in this case to 700 px width)...apply final sharpness...the cool diffused lighting is then created by a second layer adj...first copy the background layer (this will also create more saturation), choose soft light setting, apply light blur or desired blur to the copied layer (with preview setting on you can decide how much blur)....depending on the shot you might have to adjust levels (with the second layer it tends to darken the shot)...that's about it:)
